AS A KID, I LOVED WATCHING ART LINKLETTER'S HOUSE PARTY, ONE OF MY MOM'S FAVORITE DAYTIME SHOWS. FROM OUR SALE SITE, HERE IS A DEAL ON A COUPLE OF ART'S BOOKS. This is a fun book...and it's signed, too...well...sorta. I don't know. Perhaps Linkletter gave it to close friend and thus didn't feel the need to sign his full name. On the inside front cover it just says, "Yours for better learning, Art." When you look up his autograph, this does indeed seem to be authentically his handwriting so I assume it to be legit.
Anyway, this is a collection of Art's interaction with little children from House Party and various other programs over the years. Hilarious and touching, it comes complete with an introduction by Walt Disney and illustrations by Charles Schulz! This particular edition is a 1978 reprint, 5th printing, of the 1957 original and thus also features a brand new foreword by Linkletter!262 pages, slight wear on the cover and slight aging on the pages.
